Meet The Panel


Dr Tara Rampal | Consultant Anaesthetist at Princess Royal University Hospital & Clinical Director at Kent & Medway Prehab


Dr Rampal is a Consultant Anaesthetist with a keen interest in Peri-Operative care and Population Health. She is also a Senior Lecturer at Canterbury Christchurch University. She is the Founder of Phase-B, a social enterprise that she set up with the aim to improve healthcare outcomes and improve quality of life for patients in need of major medical intervention. In addition to founding Phase-B, she developed the award-winning Kent & Medway Prehab Project, a pan-county multi-organisation collaborative supporting Cancer patients to get fitter through physical and psychological. It is supported by Public Health and Cancer Alliance. She feels a strong interest in population health and wider determinants of the health of a community. She is also passionate about the potential of digital tools in changing the healthcare landscape


Rachel Binks | Nurse Consultant, Digital & Acute Care at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust


Rachel qualified in 1986 and worked on critical care units both in Leeds and Australia before moving to Airedale as a Nurse Consultant in December 2000. Since 2007, Airedale have been delivering healthcare to offenders via telemedicine and in 2011, the Trust opened their Digital Care Hub supporting patients remotely 24/7 in their own home. As part of a joint venture with the technology firm Involve VC, the hub at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust now supports over 20,000 care home residents using telemedicine in 500 homes across the country, delivering virtual clinical assessments and also providing a GP triage function. This clinical NHS nursing and therapy team also support people at the end of their life, via the Gold Line.


Alex Harvey | VP Sales at Spacestor Healthcare


Experienced Vice President of Sales with a demonstrated history of building strong & lasting client relationships working in the workplace and healthcare industries for 25 years. With his extensive experience working with global clients such as Google, Amazon, JP Morgan and Fujitsu, Alex brings a wealth of knowledge to the table when problem-solving for real estate needs and user experience. He is especially interested in the opportunities available to many industries through digital transformation accelerated by Covid, and to this end has recently been involved in a number of projects cantered on remote consultations in healthcare with forward-thinking UK NHS trusts.
